In 1991, with the approval of the General Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Shenzhen Huanyu Geotechnical Engineering Company was established.

In 1996, it was officially renamed Shenzhen Geokey Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd.

In 2008, it completed asset restructuring.

In 2011, Shenzhen Geokey Geotechnical Group Co., Ltd. was founded. The company was certified as a National High-tech Enterprise and formulated a ten-year strategic plan, the “343 Plan,” embarking on the “Big Geotechnical” development path.

In 2014, the Group headquarters moved into Geokey Building in Nanshan District.

In 2022, under the development strategy of“Diversified Geotechnics + Digital Technology,”it promoted informatization, digitalization and green development to support new infrastructure development.

In 2025, it upgraded its strategy to“Diversified Geotechnics + Intelligent Digital Technology,”focusing on empowering traditional businesses with intelligent digital technology, tackling urban safety challenges and vigorously developing high-end geotechnical services.
